摘要

Abstract

Six cloned cultivars of Yunnan large-leaf tea plants were used as scions,and the same clonal tea cultivar was used as rootstocks for grafting.The contents of four routine quality components and leaf characters of tea plants propagated by cutting and grafting were compared to understand the effect of grafting on the quality components and agronomic traits.The results show that the contents of water-soluble extract and tea polyphenols were increased,while that of total free amino acids was decreased after grafting in all six tested tea cultivars.The leaf length and width of the grafted plants were higher than that of the cuttings.The caffeine content,change of veins numbers,length of new shoot with one bud and two leaves and weight of 100 buds varied by cultivars.However,there was no obvious change in non-quantitative indicators such as leaf shape,leaf surface and color of buds and leaves.
