Abstract
Objective To investigate the correlation between magnetic resonance diffusion tensor imaging(DTI)pa-rameters,serum small dense low density lipoprotein cholesterol(sdLDL-C),and levels of autophagy effector protein 1(Beclin-1)with the severity of cerebral edema in patients with acute cerebral infarction.Methods A total of 86 patients with acute ce-rebral infarction admitted to Zhumadian Central Hospital from July 2022 to November 2023 were enrolled as the study group,while 86 healthy individuals undergoing physical examinations during the same period were selected as the control group.The DTI parameters,serum sdLDL-C,and Beclin-1 levels were compared between the two groups at admission.The DTI pa-rameters,serum sdLDL-C,and Beclin-1 levels were also compared among patients with different degrees of cerebral edema at admission.Pearson correlation analysis was used to examine the relationship between DTI parameters,serum sdLDL-C,Beclin-1 levels,and cerebral electrical impedance(CEI)disturbance coefficient values.Receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve analysis was employed to evaluate the combined diagnostic value.Results Upon admission,the study group exhibited lower FA,VRA,and DCavg values than the control group,while their serum sdLDL-C,Beclin-1 levels,and extinc-tion coefficient(Exat)values were higher(P<0.05).Patients with severe severe edema had higher serum sdLDL-C,Beclin-1 levels,and Exat values compared to those with mild edema,while their FA,VRA,and DCavg values were lower than those of patients with mild brain edema(P<0.05).At admission,serum sdLDL-C,Beclin-1 levels,and Exat values were showed posi-tively correlations with the CEI disturbance coefficient values,while FA,VRA,and DCavg demonstrated negative correlations(P<0.05).The area under curve(AUC)for the combined diagnosis of severe brain edema using serum sdLDL-C,Beclin-1 lev-els,Exat values,FA,VRA,and DCavg was 0.868,with an optimal diagnostic sensitivity of 93.55%and specificity of 80.00%.Conclusion The DTI parameters,as well as serum levels of sdLDL-C and Beclin-1,are all correlated with the severity of ce-rebral edema in patients with acute cerebral infarction.Their combined detection can provide an effective reference for clinical assessment of the patient's condition severity.关键词
