Abstract

Objective To investigate the diagnostic value of serum levels of glycerol-3-phosphate dehydrogenase 1(GPD1),chemokine ligand 5(CCL5)and serum/glucocorticoid regulated kinase 1(SGK1)for sentinel lymph node metastasis in breast cancer patients.Methods A total of 102 patients with breast cancer from June 2022 to June 2024 were selected as the cancer group,102 patients with benign breast lesions as the benign lesion group,and 102 healthy physical examination vol-unteers as the control group.Enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)was used to detect the expression levels of GPD1,CCL5,and SGK1 in all serum samples.Multivariate logistic regression was used to analyze the influencing factors of sentinel lymph node metastasis in breast cancer patients.The ROC curve was drawn to analyze the diagnostic value of serum GPD1,CCL5 and SGK1 levels for sentinel lymph node metastasis in breast cancer patients.Results Compared with the control group,the expression level of serum GPD1 was decreased in the benign lesion group and cancer group,while the expression levels of CCL5 and SGK1 were increased(P<0.05).Moreover,the expression level of serum GPD1 in the cancer group was lower than that in the benign lesion group,while the expression levels of CCL5 and SGK1 were higher(P<0.05).The serum GPD1 expres-sion level in the sentinel lymph node metastasis group was decreased compared to that in the non-metastasis group,while the expression levels of CCL5 and SGK1 were increased(P<0.05).Logistic multivariate analysis showed that histological grade Ⅲ,CCL5,and SGK1 were risk factors for sentinel lymph node metastasis in breast cancer patients,and that GPD1 was a protec-tive factor(P<0.05).ROC curve results showed that the area under the curve(AUC)value for sentinel lymph node metastasis in patients with breast cancer diagnosed by the combination of serum GPD1,CCL5 and SGK1 was 0.962,which was obviously higher than that diagnosed by GPD1(Z=2.005,P=0.045),CCL5(Z=2.410,P=0.016)and SGK1(Z=3.068,P=0.002)alone.Conclusion The serum GPD1 expression level in patients with sentinel lymph node metastasis of breast cancer is decreased,and the expression levels of CCL5 and SGK1 are increased.The combination of the three has a high diagnostic value for sentinel lymph node metastasis in breast cancer.
