教育强国建设背景下西部地区中等职业教育发展水平测度及启示
Measurement and Implications of Development Level of Secondary Vocational Education in Western Region Under the Background of Education Power Construction

Abstract
Promoting the development of secondary vocational education in the western region is a strategic priority for accelerating the construction of a new development pattern in the west and building an education power.To accurately,objectively,and comprehensively understand the development status of secondary vocational education(SVE)in the western region,this study takes the development level of SVE in the western region as the research object and constructs an evaluation index system including 5 secondary indicators and 18 tertiary indicators based on domestic and international research.Through empirical measurement of the SVE development level in western provinces using 2023 data,it is found that the development level of SVE in the western region lags behind the national average to varying degrees,and there are significant inter-provincial development disparities.Therefore,facing the goals of building an education power and regional development,SVE in the western region needs to further integrate with actual demand conditions to optimize the scale of vocational education schools;implement various resource investments to guarantee basic school operations;and enhance school-running capabilities to provide solid support for the cultivation of skilled talents.关键词
