Abstract

Objective To investigate the correlation between the expression of serum histone deacetylase 3(HDAC3),neurogulin-1(NRG-1)and annexin A1(ANXA1)and the degree of neurological dysfunction and prognosis in patients with acute cerebral infarction.Methods From January 2022 to January 2024,159 patients with acute cerebral infarction admitted to the First Hospital of Zhangjiakou were included as the observation group.According to the degree of neurological dysfunction,the patients were assigned into mild,moderate,and severe subgroups.According to the evaluation of prognosis after 90 days of treatment,the patients were assigned into a good prognosis subgroup and a poor prognosis subgroup.Another 150 healthy participants who underwent health examinations at the same hospital during the same period were selected as the control group.The general data of the two groups were compared,and the expression levels of serum HDAC3,NRG-1,and ANXA1 were detected.Multivariate logistic regression was applied to analyze the influencing factors for prognosis of patients with acute cerebral infarction.The ROC curve was applied to analyze the predictive efficacy of serum HDAC3,NRG-1,and ANXA1 for prognosis of acute cerebral infarction patients.Results The serum HDAC3 level in the observation group was higher than that of the control group,while the serum NRG-1 and ANXA1 levels were lower,the differences of which were statistically significant(P<0.05).The serum HDAC3 levels in the severe subgroup and the moderate subgroup were both higher than those of the mild subgroup,while the serum NRG-1 and ANXA1 levels in the severe and moderate subgroups were both lower.The serum HDAC3 level in the moderate subgroup was higher than that of the mild subgroup,while the serum NRG-1 and ANXA1 levels in the moderate subgroup were both lower,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The NIHSS score and serum HDAC3 level at admission in the poor prognosis subgroup were higher than those of the good prognosis subgroup,while the serum NRG-1 and ANXA1 levels were lower,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Serum HDAC3,NRG-1,ANXA1 and NIHSS score were all influencing factors for the prognosis of patients with acute cerebral infarction(all P<0.05).The AUC of the combination of serum HDAC3,NRG-1 and ANXA1 in predicting the prognosis of patients with acute cerebral infarction was better than that of serum HDAC3,NRG-1 and ANXA1 alone(all P<0.01).Conclusion The serum HDAC3 level is obviously increased in patients with acute cerebral infarction,while the expression levels of serum NRG-1 and ANXA1 are obviously decreased.The combined detection of the three indicators has higher predictive value for the prognosis of patients with acute cerebral infarction.
