Abstract

In order to study the influence of harvest time on high-quality rice yield and rice quality,seven high-quality rice varieties(Yuxiangliangyou Fuxiangzhan,Changliangyou No.8,Guoliangyou Guihuasimiao,Longkesimiao No.13,Zhenliang-you Yuzhan,Zhuliangyou 5298,Yueliangyou 2646)were used as materials in this study.Field experiments were conducted in Guidong County,Hunan Province in 2022 to compare and analyze the yield and rice quality of high-quality rice at di-fferent harvest times(physiological maturity stage and full maturity stage).The results showed that among all the tested varieties,Changliangyou No.8 had the highest yield,better rice quality,the highest milled rice rate and breakdown viscosi-ty,and the lowest setback viscosity and consistency viscosity.Compared with the treatment of harvested at the phsiological maturity stage,the average yield of the seven varieties harvested at the full maturity stage was significantly increased by 7.52%,the average head rice rate was significantly increased by 2.94%,the average chalky grain rate was significantly increased by 73.81%,the average chalkiness degree was significantly increased by 84.00%,the average amylose content was significantly reduced by 4.14%and the average resilience was significantly reduced by 2.04%.In summary,under the experiment condition,the rice harvested at the full maturity stage had higher yield,better processing quality and starch gelatinization characteristics of rice,but the appearance quality was poor.
