Abstract

To explore the appropriate rate of organic fertilizer replacing chemical fertilizer in double cropping rice areas,this study used conventional fertilization(pure chemical fertilizer,T0)as a control and set up 25%(T25),50%(T50),75%(T75)and 100%(T100)organic fertilizer replacing chemical fertilizer treatments to analyze the effects of different fertili-zation treatments on double cropping rice yield,rice quality,and soil quality.The results showed that the early rice yield,late rice yield and annual yield of T25 treatment were the highest,increasing by 1.34%,2.31%,and 1.82%respectively compared to T0 treatment,but the differences were not significant.The organic fertilizer replacing chemical fertilizer treat-ments had no significant effecton the rice quality index of early rice and late rice,but the chalkiness and chalky grain rate of late rice of which were significantly reduced by 40.00%-60.00%and 34.48%-55.17%compared to T0 treatment,re-spectively.The organic fertilizer replacing chemical fertilizer treatments increased organic matter,total nitrogen,total potas-sium,alkali-hydrolyzable nitrogen,and available potassium contents of soil compared to T0 treatment,while reducing soil bulk density.The soil available potassium contents in T75 and T100 treatments increased significantly by 78.28%and 98.18%compared to T0 treatment,respectively,and the soil bulk density in T100 treatment decreased significantly com-pared to T0 treatment.The soil quality index increased with the increase of the rate of organic fertilizer replacing chemical fertilizers.The soil quality index of the organic fertilizer replacing chemical fertilizer treatments increased by 17.74%-114.42%compared to T0 treatment,with the T100 treatment significantly higher than the T0 treatment.In summary,the organic fertilizer replacing chemical fertilizer treatments improved the late rice quality and increased the nutrients content and quality of soil in double cropping rice fields,as well as the yield of double cropping rice with 25%of organic fertilizer replacing chemical fertilizer was the best.
