摘要
Abstract
Objective:To explore the effect of vitamin D3 combined with low-intensity resistance exercise in the treatment of sarcopenia in the elderly.Method:A total of 94 elderly patients with sarcopenia admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Xiamen University from January to September 2023 were selected as the research subjects.According to the random number table method, they were divided into Group A and Group B,with 47 cases in each group.Group A received low-intensity resistance exercise therapy, while Group B received vitamin D3 combined with low-intensity resistance exercise therapy. The therapeutic effects,Appendicular Skeletal Muscle Mass Index(ASMI)of the extremities before and after treatment, muscle strength-related indicators(grip strength, knee extensor muscle strength,6-meter walking speed),pulmonary function indicators, and the levels of serum inflammatory factors were compared between the two groups.Result:The effective rate of treatment in group B was higher than that in group A,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Before treatment, the levels of ASMI,grip strength, knee extensor muscle strength and 6-meter walking speed in the two groups were similar, and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).After the treatment, the ASMI level and grip strength level in group B were higher than those in group A,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After the treatment, the muscle strength of the knee extensor muscles and the 6-meter walking speed level in group B were similar to those in group A,and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Before treatment, the levels of forced vital capacity(FVC)and forced expiratory volume in the first second(FEV1)in group B were similar to those in group A,and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).After the treatment, the levels of FVC and FEV1 in group B were higher than those in group A,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Before treatment, the levels of C-reactive protein(CRP)and interleukin-1 β(IL-1β)in group B were similar to those in group A,and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).After the treatment, the levels of CRP and IL-1β in group B were lower than those in group A,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The implementation of vitamin D3 combined with low-intensity resistance exercise therapy for elderly patients with sarcopenia can enhance the therapeutic effect, improve the muscle strength level and lung function of patients, and reduce the levels of serum inflammatory factors of patients.关键词
