Abstract
Objective:To investigate the risk factors of cytomegalovirus(HCMV)infection in metabolically associated fatty liver disease(MAFLD)and establish a predictive model. Methods:A total of 276 patients with MAFLD admitted to our hospital from December 2019 to December 2023 were retrospectively selected.Clinical data were collected, and the patients were divided into infected group(47 cases)and uninfected group(229 cases)according to whether they were complicated with HCMV infection.Multivariate Logistic regression analysis was conducted to analyze the related factors affecting HCMV infection in MAFLD patients. The predictive model was constructed according to the regression model, and the receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve verified the predictive efficiency of the predictive model. Results:The age of the infected group was higher than that of uninfected group(P<0.05).Body mass index(BMI),Child-Pugh grade C ratio,Model for Evaluation of End-stage Liver Disease(MELD)score,International standardized ratio(INR),bilirubin, alanine aminotransferase(ALT),fasting blood glucose(FPG),and total cholesterol(TC)were higher than those in uninfected group(P<0.05).Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that high NLR,high MELD score, high FPG,high TC,and high BMI were risk factors for HCMV infection in MAFLD patients(P<0.05).The area under the curve of the prediction model for HCMV infection in MAFLD patients was 0.809(95%CI:0.758~0.854),and the Hosmer-Lemeshow test showed P>0.05.Conclusion:Metabolic disorders, obesity, liver function, and inflammation are the related factors of HCMV infection in MAFLD patients, and the prediction model based on these risk factors has high efficacy.关键词
