Construction of Modern Vocational Education System from the Perspective of Building a Powerful Education Country:Direction,Focus and Support

Abstract
On May 24,2025,the parallel forum titled"Modern Vocational Education System Construction Forum",part of the"Forum on Building a Powerful Education Country and Higher Education Reform and Development"organized by the China Association for Higher Education and hosted by the Vocational and Technical Education Branch of the China Association for Higher Education and Changchun Technical University of Automobile,was held in Changchun.The forum focused on core topics such as the positioning and direction of vocational education system construction from the perspective of building a powerful education country,high-quality development of vocational undergraduate education,high-level construction of higher vocational colleges,and digital empowerment of vocational education.Looking ahead,in the context of building a powerful education country,a modern vocational education system should be constructed with adaptability,internationalization and integration as its direction,high-quality development of vocational undergraduate education as its focus,and sustained and in-depth promotion of high-level construction of higher vocational colleges and professional clusters as its support,injecting new momentum into the high-quality development of vocational education.关键词
