豫东地区菜用甘薯引种评价
Introduction and Evaluation of Vegetable Sweet Potato in Eastern Henan Region

Abstract
In order to select high-yield and high-quality vegetable sweet potato varieties suitable for planting in the eastern Henan region,9 vegetable sweet potato varieties including Fushu 7-6(CK),Tainong 71,Fucaishu 18,Ecaishu 1,Ecaishu 10,Shulv 1,Quanshu 830,Pushu 53,and Fucai 1 were introduced and cultivated.The biology characteristics,agronomic characters,taste and yield of fresh and tender stem tips of the tested varieties were analyzed and evaluated comprehensively.The results showed that vegetable sweet potatoes can be cultivated in the open field from May to October in the eastern Henan region,with good field performance,vigorous growth,few pests or diseases,and high yield.Fucaishu 18,Ecaishu 1,and Ecaishu 10 have good taste and high yield;Tainong 71 and Quanshu 830,have good taste and strong up-right ability,suitable for mechanized harvesting;Fucai 1 has large and thick leaves and long petiole,which is favored by people who like to eat petiole and sweet potato leaf food.Targeted planting and promotion of related varieties would be selected according to different need for produc-tion.关键词
