Effects of Adding Biocontrol Microbes to Different Substrate Combinations on Growth of Cucumber Seedlings

Abstract
The growth of the seedlings of closely prickly cucumber variety was determined and the effect of adding different biological agents to different substrate formulations on the growth of the seedlings was analyzed to screen the suitable substrate formulations and biological agents for the growth of cucumber seedlings.The results showed that different substrate combinations and different biological agents had significant effects on cucumber seedlings.Among them,adding Bacillus subtilis and Paenibacillus polymyxa to the substrate formulations of peat:perlite:vermicu-lite in a ratio of 3∶1∶1 could significantly improve the emergence rate and strength index of cucumber seedlings,showing a significant promo-tion of cucumber seedling growth.关键词
