Carrying capacity analysis and optimization of Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway stations based on pre-arrival division control

Abstract
As a benchmark of high-speed railways in China,the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway has become one of the busiest high-speed railway lines since its opening.During peak hours,the carrying capacity of the large station is approaching saturation,becoming the main bottleneck restricting the capacity of lines or sections.In order to enhance the carrying capacity of the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway,taking Nanjing South Station of the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway as the research object,this study calculates and analyzes the arrival intervals of different types of trains passing through the Beijing-Shanghai yard of Nanjing South Station.Based on this,the concept of the division of pre-arrival control was proposed,which considered the approaching section and the station as a whole based on the system engineering idea.By setting pre-arrival signals in the approaching section,the train arrival tracking interval was compressed.By changing the length of the division of pre-arrival and dividing key turnout nodes,an optimization model for the division of pre-arrival was established.The relationship between train tracking interval and division occupancy time under different lengths of the pre-arrival division was compared to determine the location of the bottleneck division.By designing an algorithm for calculating the occupancy time of routes,the total occupancy time of different train sequences in the route set before and after pre-arrival was compared.The research results show that using different approaching division for pre-arrival operations will reduce the arrival tracking interval to varying degrees.Among them,the compression effect of the arrival tracking interval by the pre-arrival control of the first approaching division is the most significant.The carrying capacity bottleneck gradually shifts from the entrance signal division to the throat as the distance of the pre-arrival division increases.The total time occupied by the train sequence for pre-arrival operations is more improved than before,and the carrying capacity of the station is significantly improved within the same time period.The research results have guiding significance for expanding the theoretical model of station division and improving the capacity of large stations on high-speed railway lines.关键词
