Abstract
Mr.Li Congfu(1905-1990)is a famous traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)doctor and a TCM educator in China,and as the head of the"five famous old TCM doctors"in Hunan,China,he has made great achieve-ments in the field of TCM education.His academic thoughts have influenced the development of TCM in Hunan and e-ven the whole country,and he is as famous as Mr.Shi Jinmo in Beijing.Mr.Li carried out the research on ancient Chi-nese medical classics with perseverance and laid a solid foundation for the research on TCM theories;he taught about TCM theories with unique teaching methods and cultivated TCM talents for the future;he adhered to the kindhearted-ness of doctors with high medical ethics and won the respect of patients and peers.His contribution not only affects the current status of TCM,but also lays a solid foundation for long-term development.As Mr.Li's apprentice and assis-tant,the author systematically elaborates on the outstanding contribution of Mr.Li Congfu in the field of TCM from the aspects of literature research,theoretical basis,and medical ethics.关键词
