Abstract
This study aimed to investigate the preventive and control effects of proanthocyanidins(PC)on porcine reproductive and res-piratory syndrome(PRRS)in sows.Through in vivo experiments,the effects of the PC doses on reproductive performance,immune pa-rameters,and viral load in PRRSV-infected sows were analyzed.The results demonstrated that supplementation with 1 g/kg PC significantly improved reproductive performance,reduced viremia levels,and enhanced antioxidant capacity and immune function in PRRSV-infected sows.This study provides a theoretical basis for the application of natural plant extracts in PRRS preven-tion and control.关键词
