Non-invasive Quantitative Assessment Method for the Connection Defect of Side Bushing Current Carrying of UHV Converter Transformer Valve Based on the Optimum Temperature Measurement Point

Abstract
As an essential component of the valve side bushing,the watchband contact will lead to an increase in temperature in cases where there are flaws in the current carrying connections,resulting in overheating of the bushing.However,at present,there is no practical quantitative method for detecting the hot spot temperatures of the watchband contact.From the point of heat flux and in view of the optimal temperature measurement point on the outer surface,this paper proposes a method for evaluating defects in the current carrying connection of the side bushing of converter transformer valves based on the optimal temperature measuring point.Taking±800 kV resin impregnated paper-filled SF6 type bushing as an example,simulations are conducted to study the temperature field of the bushings under different operating conditions and contact resistance values.It analyzes the heat flux of the watchband contacts transferring to the outer surface and combines Pearson correlation coefficients to initially select the temperature measurement points on the surface.Meanwhile,it uses a support vector regression model optimized by particle swarm optimizations to determine the optimal temperature measuring points.The research concludes that the optimal temperature measuring point have a strong correlation with contact hot spot temperatures and can obtain characteristic quantities non-invasively.Furthermore,it demonstrates that using the temperature of the optimal temperature measurement point can predict hot spot temperatures of watchband contacts with an average absolute error of 0.89%and the maximum temperature difference of less than 0.82 ℃,enabling quantitative evaluation of current carrying connection defects.关键词
