Impulse Current Measurement Based on Non-magnetic Ring TMR Sensor

Abstract
In recent years,the tunnel magnetoresistance(TMR)current sensor technology without a magnetic ring structure has been extensively studied,but there is still a lack of its characteristic analysis in measuring impulse cur-rent.To this end,the TMR current sensor is made and experimental research is performed.Firstly,the signal process-ing circuit of sensors is designed in accordance with the measurement principles and output characteristics of TMR elements,and TMR element models are selected by the magnitude of current and,at the same time,the influence of installation distance and angle deviation on measurement results is analyzed,Then,the designed current sensor is subjected to the linear range calculation and bandwidth measurement.Finally,TMR current sensors are used to mea-sure impulse currents and results are compared with measurement results of Rogowski coil and,at the same time,the output characteristics of the TMR element under the impulse magnetic field are analyzed.The experimental re-sults show that compared with the Rogowski coil,the difference of measurement results of the TMR2104 current sen-sors to the impulse current peak measurement is within 1%,and difference of peak time is within 1 μs,and difference of half-peak time is within 2.2 μs.The output linear range of the TMR element becomes larger under the action of the impulse magnetic field.In case of reasonable choice of TMR element and sensors'position,non-magnetic ring TMR current sensors can achieve accurate measurement of impulse current and volume of the sensors can be reduced.关键词
