Abstract

With the rapid development of power industry,the intelligent transformation of electrical equipment and intensificaiton of market competition have become increasingly significant.As the key equipment in power system,the high volatge electrical product is of vital importance in its performance and quality.In this paper,the application value of industrial design in the development of high-voltage electrical product is mainy discussed.The design optimi-zation of such three dimensions as appearance modeling,human-machine interaction and structural functionality is perticularly studied through literature analysis,case studies,and experimental validation.A specific high-voltage switchgear cabinet is taking as an example,the appication of industrial design keeps the assembly time of the product reduced by 56%,maintenance time shortened by 67%,maloperation rate reduced by 97%,heat dissipation efficiency increased by 28%,weight of equipment reduced by 32%and operation and maintenance costs reduced by 42%.The research shows that industrial design can significantly enhance product competitiveness.However,such challenges such design concept difference,interdisciplinary collaboration and cost control must be addressed.It is suggested that the in-depth application of industrial design can be promoted by transforming design thinking,strengthening team building and optimizing cost management,thereby facilitating the innovative development of the high-voltage apparatus industry.
