摘要

Abstract

A starch-based flocculant with pH and salt response characteristics was synthesized by grafting 2-chloro-4,6-diamino-1,3,5-triazine(CAT)to starch,and it was used to remove the reactive dye K-2BP from solution.Effects of pH,flocculant dosage,salt content,and settling time on the flocculation effect were investigated systematically,and the feasibility of recycling decolorized wastewater into the dyeing process was discussed.The experimental results indicate that this flocculant exhibits ultra-salt responsiveness.Obvious phase separation is observed in the solution environment of pH 1.5 and 0.5 g/L Na2SO4.When the flocculant dosage is 0.40 g/L,and sedimentation time reachs 5 min,the removal rate of K-2BP is 97.0%in the operating environment with 200 mg/L reactive dye K-2BP and pH 1.3.The consumption of inorganic salt and fresh water can be reduced by reusing the saline wastewater after decolorization treatment in the dyeing process.In summary,this flocculant has a promising future in the decolorization treatment of high salt wastewater,with the advantages of low residual rate and strong anti-re-stabilization ability,leading to consistent effectiveness regardless of salinity.
