Preparation and Performance of DAP-4@TNT Energetic Composite

Abstract
To study the application characteristics of ammonium perchlorate-based molecular perovskite energetic material(H2dabco)(NH4)(ClO4)3(DAP-4)in mixed explosives,DAP-4@TNT energetic composite was prepared by spray granulation process.The morphology and structure were characterized by scanning electron microscope(SEM),infrared spectrum(FTIR),and X-ray diffraction(XRD).The thermal decomposition characteristics of DAP-4,TNT,and DAP-4@TNT composite were analyzed by differential scanning calorimetry(DSC),and the gas products were determined by mass spectrometry(MS)and FTIR.The mechanical sensitivity was tested according to the GJB772-1997 method,the detonation performance was calculated by EXPLO5 V6.04.02 software and was compared with Composition B.Results show that DAP-4 and TNT can form a"crystal embedded"structure,and there is no crystal transformation and no new crystal formation in the combination.The thermal de-composition temperature of TNT and DAP-4 in the composite increase by 1.7℃ and 16.8 ℃,respectively.The slower the decomposition rate,the higher the thermal stability.The gas products generated by thermal decomposition mainly include NH3,H2O,HCN,CO,HCl,CO2,NO,and NOCl,similar to that of Composition B.In addition,the detonation velocity,detona-tion heat,detonation pressure,and detonation temperature of the DAP-4@TNT composite are 8510m/s,6376J/g,29.5GPa,and 4 154K,respectively,which are higher than those of Composition B.The detonation capacity of the DAP-4@TNT composite is 721 L/kg,which is slightly lower than that of Composition B.关键词
