Explosion Performance and Influencing Factors of Mixed Biomass Based Blasting Agents

Abstract
In order to study the explosive performance and influencing factors of biomass based blasting agents,using tradition-al industrial explosives performance test methods,the explosion velocity,brisance,air explosion shock wave overpressure,thermite initiation,and on-site rock breaking tests of biomass based blasting agents were conducted by orthogonal experimental methods.The explosion stability of biomass based blasting agents were also analyzed.The detonation stability test results show that biomass based blasting agents,similar to industrial explosives,exhibit unstable detonation in a non-steady state locally after detonation,and the detonation tends to stabilize after 8-10cm distance from the detonation point.Based on the results of the explosion velocity test,the charge density is the main influencing factor for the explosion velocity of biomass based blasting a-gents,followed by the thickness of the steel pipe wall,and the influence of particle size is relatively small.The combination of the three factors with the highest explosion velocity of 2892.0m/s is the charge density of 0.12g/cm3,particle diameter of 0.18mm,and steel pipe wall thickness of 2.50mm.The brisance test shows that oxygen pressure is the main influencing factor of brisance,followed by charge density,and the influence of steel pipe wall thickness is the smallest.The combination of the three factors with the highest brisance of 18.50 mm is charge density of 0.12 g/cm3,oxygen pressure of 9 MPa,and steel pipe wall thickness of 2.50 mm.Through aerial explosion tests,it was found that the peak overpressure of air shock waves increases with the increase of oxygen pressure and steel pipe wall thickness.When the oxygen pressure is 9 MPa and the steel pipe wall thickness is 2.50 mm,the overpressure reaches the maximum value of 0.052 MPa.The detonation test of thermite(mass ratio of CuO and Al is 3∶2)shows that thermite can detonate biomass based blasting agents,but the blasting power is different from that of detonators.The on-site experiments show that biomass based blasting agents can achieve the purpose of rock breaking,verify the feasibility of biomass rock breaking technology.关键词
