Theoretical Implications and Contemporary Value of Deng Xiaoping's Thoughts on Ethnic Unity
摘要
Abstract
Ethnic unity is the lifeline of people of all ethnic groups in the country.Deng Xiaoping's thoughts on ethnic unity were formed in the historical and practical context of our multi-ethnic nation,deeply reflecting the intellectual resources of China's outstanding traditional culture,encompassing the thoughts on ethnic unity of classic Marxist writers,and inheriting and developing Mao Zedong's ideas on ethnic unity.Delving into the theoretical implications of these thoughts,their fundamental guarantee is the adherence to the leadership of the Party,the prerequisite is the elimination of ethnic barriers,the po-litical foundation is the adherence to the Four Cardinal Principles,the vivid portrayal is the"Two Insepa-rables"principle,the material foundation is the promotion of common prosperity and development of all ethnic groups,and the institutional guarantee is the adherence to the system of ethnic regional autonomy.Under the new requirements of the new era,Deng Xiaoping's thoughts on ethnic unity have significant contemporary value for building a new type of socialist ethnic relationship,consolidating the sense of com-munity of the Chinese nation,achieving Chinese-style modernization,and promoting the common pros-perity and social harmony of all ethnic groups.关键词
