Global trends in the association of mesenchymal stem cells and diabetes over the past 20 years:a bibliometric analysis and visualization

目的 利用文献计量学和可视化分析研究间充质干细胞(MSC)治疗糖尿病(DM)领域研究进程和内容.方法 利用VOSviewer、CiteSpace和R语言等软件可视化分析Web of Science核心数据库2005年1月-2024年3月发表的文献.结果 共纳入核心文献2 940篇;德国、美国和意大利是本领域中最有影响力的国家,哈佛大学是本领域中合作的中心机构,《Stem cell research&therapy》是与本领域最相关的期刊,《Diabetes》是本领域最具影响力的期刊;目前本领域研究集中于4个方向:氧化应激、胰岛β细胞功能障碍、DM并发症和DM创面治疗;研究热点集中于外泌体和创面治疗领域.结论 MSC仍是治疗DM的前沿领域,MSC治疗DM相关研究主要集中于治疗机制和并发症治疗领域,未来的热点将集中于外泌体及创面治疗.

Objective To utilizie bibliometric and visual analyses to study mesenchymal stem cells(MSC)for diabetes mellitus(DM)process and content of research.Methods Literature published in the Web of Science core database from January 2005 to March 2024 was visualised and analysed using software such as VOS-viewer,CiteSpace and R language.Results A total of 2 940 core documents were included.Germany,the United States and Italy are the most influential countries in this field,Harvard University is the central insti-tution collaborating in this field,Stem cell research&therapy is the most relevant journal to this field,and Diabetes is the most influential journal in this field.Current research in this field focuses on four directions:oxidative stress,pancreatic β-cell dysfunction,DM complications,and DM invasive therapy.Current research hotspots are in the areas of exosomes and invasive therapy.Conclusion Mesenchymal stem cell are still the frontier field of DM treatment,and the research mainly focuses on the treatment mechanism and the treatment of complications,and the future hot spots will focus on exosome and wound therapy.
