摘要

Abstract

This study investigated differences in meconium microbial communities among distinct strains of Dagu chickens.Fresh meconium samples were randomly collected from 20 one-day-old chicks(five chicks per group):Green Shank-Fast Growing(Group A),Yellow Shank-Fast Growing(Group B),Green Shank-High Reproductive(Group C),and Yellow Shank-High Reproductive(Group D).All samples underwent 16S rRNA sequencing and analysis.Results revealed similar fundamental microbial composition across groups.Alpha diversity analysis indicated Group C exhibited the highest microbial richness,while beta diversity analysis demonstrated significant microbial community differences between Group C and other groups.Comparative analysis showed Group A had higher abundances of Bacteroidia and Bacteroidota,Group C showed elevated abundances of Akkermansia and Verrucomicrobiales,Group D displayed increased abundances of Solirubrobacter and Thermoleophilia but the lowest abundance of Alcaligenes.Across all strains,meconium microbiota involves seven Level 1 metabolic pathways,with the top three being amino acid biosynthesis,cofactor and vitamin biosynthesis,and nucleoside/nucleotide biosynthesis.The study indicates that there are significant differences in the microbial abundance structure of meconium among different strains of Dagu chickens.The primary functions of the microbial flora in the chicks'meconium are biosynthesis and carbohydrate degradation.
