Design and motion simulation of the parallel beating-up mechanism for 3D loom

Abstract
In view of the problems of uneven weft force,short rest time at limit position and insufficient wefting force in the weft mechanism of 3D loom,a new six-bar parallel wefting mechanism was proposed through the series connection of a two-arm rocker crank rocker and an RRP type II level rod group.The conditions for the steel reed to be in the limit position and the force to be optimally transmitted were analyzed.The proper mechanism size was designed according to the rigid body guidance theory and the approximate rest requirement.The results were simulated by Matlab for kinematic analysis.The simulation results showed that the motion each link of the wefting mechanism was gentle,the steel reed was approximately at rest within the range of 120°rotation of the main shaft at the rear dead center position,and the acceleration of the steel reed was large at the front dead center position.The parallel wefting mechanism ensured that the wefting force acting on theft was consistent and that the steel reed was approximately at rest at the limit position for a long time.It provided the wefting force needed to tighten the fabric and meet wefting process requirements.关键词
