Changes in the expression of glucagon-like peptide-1 and α-synuclein in the pancreas of A53T mice

Abstract
Objective To investigate the changes in the expression of α-synuclein(α-Syn)and glucagon-like peptide-1(GLP-1)in the pancreas of A53T transgenic mice.Methods A53T mice and wild-type(WT)mice,aged 6 months,were selected and their pancreatic tissue was collected.Western blotting was used to measure the protein expression levels of GLP-1 and α-Syn in pan-creatic tissue,and immunofluorescence assay was used to observe the localization of GLP-1 and α-Syn in pancreatic tissue.Re-sults Western blotting showed that there was no significant difference in the expression level of GLP-1 in pancreatic tissue be-tween A53T mice and WT mice(P＞0.05).Immunofluorescence assay showed that GLP-1 and α-Syn were co-localized in pancrea-tic α-cells,and compared with WT mice,A53T mice had a significantly higher expression level of α-Syn in pancreatic tissue(t=4.620,P＜0.01).Conclusion In the pancreatic tissue of A53T mice,α-Syn is co-expressed with GLP-1 in α-cells,and there is a significant increase in the expression level of α-Syn.关键词
