摘要

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the alleviating effect of chitosan selenium(CS)on growth performance and intestinal function induced by aflatoxin B1(AFB1)in piglets.Atotal of forty 35-day-old piglets were randomly divided into four groups,with five replicates in each group and two piglets per replicate.The control group(group C)was fed with basal diet,while group A,group AO1,and group AO2 were added with 60 μg/kg AFB1,60 μg/kg AFB1 and 0.3 mg/kg CS,and 60 μg/kg AFB1 and 0.5 mg/kg CS to the basal diet,respectively.The pre-test period was 7 days and the formal test period was 28 days.The results showed that compared with group C,the final weight,average daily gain,and average daily feed intake of piglets in group A were significantly decreased(P<0.05),and the feed to gain ratio was significantly increased(P<0.05).The activities of alanine aminotransferase(ALT)and aspartate aminotransferase(AST)in the plasma of piglets were significantly increased(P<0.05).The activities of glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px)and total superoxide dismutase(T-SOD)in the ileum of piglets and the antioxidant capacity(T-AOC)were significantly decreased(P<0.05),while the content of malondialdehyde(MDA)was significantly increased(P<0.05).The activities of trypsin,α-amylase and lipase in the ileum of piglets were significantly decreased(P<0.05).The concentrations of interleukin-4(IL-4)and interleukin-10(IL-10)in the ileum were significantly decreased(P<0.05),while the concentrations of interleukin-6(IL-6)and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)were significantly increased(P<0.05).The concentrations of immunoglobulin G(IgG)and immunoglobulin A(IgA)in the plasma were significantly decreased(P<0.05).Compared with group A,the final weight,average daily gain,and average daily feed intake of piglets in groups AO1 and AO2 were significantly increased(P<0.05),and the feed to gain ratio was significantly decreased(P<0.05).The activities of ALT and AST in the plasma were significantly decreased(P<0.05).The activities of GSH-Px,T-SOD and T-AOC in the ileum were significantly increased(P<0.05),while the content of MDA was significantly decreased(P<0.05).The activities of trypsin,α-amylase,and lipase in the ileum were significantly increased(P<0.05).The concentrations of IL-4 and IL-10 in the ileum were significantly increased(P<0.05),while the concentrations of IL-6 and TNF-α were significantly decreased(P<0.05).The concentrations of IgG and IgA in plasma were significantly increased(P<0.05).The study indicates that CS can alleviate AFB1-induced impairments in growth performance and intestinal function in piglets.
