Abstract

Traction energy consumption is the primary energy expenditure in urban rail transit systems,and reducing it can effectively lower operational costs.This study,based on the correlation between section running time and traction energy consumption,proposed an energy-saving allocation method for section running time to minimize turnover traction energy consumption.The method optimized energy consumption by reasonably distributing redundant running time across sections.First,a relationship model between train running time and traction energy consumption within a single section was built by a discrete simulation method,under the constraints of track force and running time.Then,an optimization model for section running time was constructed,and an iterative optimization algorithm for redundant time allocation was designed to scientifically adjust the running time of each section,thereby reducing traction energy consumption.The method was validated using an actual metro line as a case study.The results show that,while maintaining the same transport capacity,the optimization scheme can reduce the traction energy consumption per train trip by 7.57%.The proposed method has practicality and application value,providing technical support for the formulation of energy-saving operation schedules for urban rail transit systems.
