摘要

Abstract

To investigate the effects of salt stress on the physiological growth of plants and screen for superior salt-tolerant species,we conducted an experiment using four kinds of Pennisetum(Pennisetum setaceum 'Rubrum',Pennisetum alopecuroides 'Little Bunny',Pennisetum alopecuroides 'Rousui',Pennisetum alopecuroides,three kinds of Miscanthus(Miscanthus sinensis 'Variegatus',Miscant-hus sinensis,Miscanthus sinensis 'Xianxu')and one kind of Panicum virgatum,to invesgate the effects of salt stress on the physiologi-cal growth of plants.With the salt-free treatment as the control,the plant height,leaf water content,proline content(Pro),malondi-aldehyde(MDA)content,superoxide dismutase(SOD)activity,catalase(CAT)activity were measured under different salt concentra-tion treatments(0.2%,0.4%,0.6%,0.8%,1.0%,1.2%).The membership function method was adopted to comprehensively evaluate their salt tolerance.The salt treatment reduced the plant height,leaf water content,SOD activity and CAT activity,and increased con-tents of Pro and MDA.The salt tolerance of the eight plant materials was in the order of Pennisetum alopecuroides 'Rousui'>Pennise-tum alopecuroides 'Little Bunny'>Pennisetum setaceum 'Rubrum'>Pennisetum alopecuroides>Miscanthus sinensis 'Variegatus'>Pan-icum virgatum>Miscanthus sinensis>Miscanthus sinensis 'Xianxu'.In conclusion,this study provides reference for the application of greening plants in urban saline-alkali soil.
