Correlations between CO2 outburst disaster and reservoir-forming mechanism under shallow subsurface in Yaojie mining area

Abstract
The Yaojie mining area in Gansu Province is controlled by its special reservoir-forming struc-tural conditions,accumulating a large amount of CO2 in shallow spaces until mining disturbances cause frequent CO2 outburst disasters,which becomes a typical case of shallow CO2 outburst disasters in coal mines.In order to analyze the internal relationship between shallow CO2 outburst disasters and geolog-ical mechanisms of reservoir formation,based on the analysis of geological characteristics of the Yaojie mining area,the distribution characteristics and potential laws of the CO2 outburst accidents in the min-ing area were explored,and the source,migration and storage characteristics of CO2 in the mining area were studied.The results show that:There are four areas with high incidence or high risk of CO2 out-burst accidents in Yaojie mining area,all of which are CO2 rich areas with high pressure,high concen-tration and large storage,and all are close to F19 major fault;Faults are the main controlling elements affecting the CO2 formation and protruding disaster generation pattern in the Yaojie mine area,and they are not only the transport channels,storage spaces,and storage foundations of CO2,but also cause the locality and dispersion of CO2 prominent disasters.The burnt rock aquifer plays an auxiliary role in hy-draulic sealing,dissolution sealing,and mineralization sealing during the long-term safe geological stor-age of CO2.Mining disturbance disrupts the stress balance and sealing conditions of CO2 accumulation areas,which is the inducing factor for shallow CO2 outburst.The research can provide reference for the prevention and control of CO2 outburst disasters and shallow large-scale geological storage in mining ar-eas.关键词
