日粮中添加中草药对肉牛生长发育和免疫功能的影响
The Effect of Adding Chinese Herbal Medicine to the Diet on the Growth,Development,and Immune Function of Beef Cattle

Abstract
To investigate the effects of adding traditional Chinese herbs to the diet on the growth and development and immune function of beef cattle,the experiment selected 20 Zhangye beef cattle,randomly divided into four groups:a control group,and low-,medium-,and high-dose groups of traditional Chinese herbs,with 0,2%,4%,and 6%of traditional Chinese herbs added to the basal diet,respectively.The results showed that the total weight gain,average daily weight gain,and average daily feed intake of beef cattle in the medium and high herbal medicine dose groups were significantly higher than those in the control group(P＜0.05).Compared with the control group,the serum levels of IgA and IgG in the herbal medicine groups were significantly higher(P＜0.05);the serum levels of albumin and total protein in the medium and high-dose herbal medicine groups were significantly higher(P＜0.05).In summary,the addition of herbal medicine improved growth performance,enhanced immune function,and improved serum biochemical indicators in beef cattle.Under the conditions of this experiment,the optimal addition dose of traditional Chinese medicine is 6%.关键词
