西门塔尔牛母牛体重与体尺性状的相关回归分析
Correlation and Regression Analysis of Body Weight and Body Size Traits of Simmental Cows

Abstract
At present,the breeding of Simmental cattle is characterized by high costs and long cycles.Therefore,improving the breeding efficiency is crucial for alleviating the contradiction between the supply and demand of beef.This study took 191 Simmental cows from the Bazhou Beef Cattle Company of Xinjiang Hualing as the research objects,measured their body weights and body size traits.After preliminary data collation using Excel,correlation and regression analyses were carried out with SPSS 22.0 software.The results showed that the chest circumference(β=4.826,P＜0.001)had the highest contribution rate to the body weight,reaching 65.2%.The body oblique length(β=1.817,P＜0.001)ranked second,with a contribution rate of 20.8%,and the hip width(β=3.674,P=0.001)had a contribution rate of 15.6%.This study revealed the quantitative relationship between the body size and body weight of Simmental cows in Xinjiang.It is recommended to take the chest circumference as the core indicator during breeding and conduct a comprehensive evaluation in combination with the hip width,which is helpful to improve the breeding efficiency of Simmental cattle,reduce costs,and provide a scientific basis for the precise breeding of Simmental cattle in Xinjiang.关键词
