摘要

Abstract

Previous studies have found that signaling lymphocyte activation molecule(SLAM or CD150)and poliovirus receptor related protein 4(PVRL4 or Nectin4)are the main cell receptors of measles virus and also participate in the process of Newcastle disease virus(NDV)infection[1].In order to verify the roles of chicken derived Nectin4(chNectin4)and SLAM(chSLAM)in NDV infection,BHK21 cell lines stably expressing chNectin4 and chSLAM were constructed in this study.The results of infection experiments showed that the levels of NP mRNA in the BHK21cells stably expressing chNectin4 and chSLAM were significantly higher than those in the parental cells at 12 and 24 hours after inoculation of NDV La Sota strain,indicating that chNectin4 and chSLAM promoted the proliferation of NDV in BHK21 cells and the effect of chNectin4 on the proliferation of NDV was more obvious than chSLAM.This study laid a foundation for further study on the roles of chicken Nectin4 and SLAM in NDV infection and development of a NDV vaccine.
