Discussion on the use of'uncloging and exuding'method to dispel evil spirits in YANG Lishan's Shengjiang Powder

Abstract
The article is based on the'uncloging and exuding'dispelling evil method and analyzes the application rules of YANG Lishan's Shengjiang Powder and its modified formulas.YANG Lishan believes that the evils first spread to the triple energizer,blocking the Qingdao of upper energizer and the Zhuodao of lower energizer.Then the evils energy flows from shallow to deep,inhabiting the blood aspect,blocking the distribution of yang qi,forming stagnant heat,consuming blood,and reaching the qi aspect outward,blocking qi movement of qi aspect,and forms the syndrome of triple energizer hot stagnation and both internal and external heat,providing a theoretical basis and a pathway for the application of the'uncloging and exuding'dispelling evil method.Therefore,YANG Lishan's primary principle was to expel evil spirits and to divide and treat triple energizer.Essentially,he used Shengjiang Powder as the basic formula,using stiff silkworm and cicada sloughs to relieve the obstruction of the upper energizer's Qingdao,and to clear the pathogenic factors by opening the striae and interstice and clearing them;using turmeric and rhubarb to activate the stagnation and closure of the lower energizer's Zhuodao,in order to open the Zhuodao and pass down the evils.The other fourteen formulas are all treated with the method of the Qingdao and Zhuodao and also with the method of clearing heat and detoxifying.关键词
