Expert Consensus on Perioperative Nursing Practices Integrating Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine for Keratoprosthesis Implantation
摘要
Abstract
Keratoprosthesis(KPro)is an advanced optical prosthesis offering a promising treatment for end-stage corneal blindness.In clinical nursing practice,integrating Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)with Western Medicine(WM)delivers significant benefits.This approach combines TCM therapies—such as Chinese medicines,acupuncture,acupoint massage,and syndrome differentiation—with WM treatments to improve symptom control and accelerate recovery.However,standardized guidelines for nursing practices in keratoprosthesis implantation are still lacking.Therefore,this study conducted a systematic literature review and consulted experts to develop standardized perioperative nursing protocols and emergency measures.Our goal is to optimize integrated Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine nursing during keratoprosthesis implantation,reduce postoperative complications,and enhance patient outcomes.关键词
