韦企平治疗儿童颅咽管瘤致视神经病变的临证思路
WEI Qiping's Clinical Approach to Treating Optic Neuropathy Caused by Cranio-pharyngioma in Children

Abstract
Optic neuropathy caused by craniopharyngioma in children is clinically refractory,and Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)demonstrates unique advantages in its treatment.Craniopharyngioma,a common congenital intracranial tumor in children,often leads to optic neuropathy manifested as visual impairment,visual field defects,and postoperative complications such as endocrine disorders.WEI Qiping extends the four diagnostic methods by integrating modern medical examinations,tailors treatment based on the child´s constitution,and conducts precise syndrome differentiation.He attributes the complex pathogenesis to factors including congenital deficiency,kidney essence deficiency,spleen dysfunction,and Qi stagnation.The therapeutic principles involve staging differentiation,emphasizing pattern identification,regulating Qi movement,tonifying the five zang organs,resolving stasis and nodules,and harmonizing Yin-Yang.The modified"Qingmang Formula I"combined with"WEI´s Triple-Nine Acupuncture"focuses on regulating the child´s holistic state and improving visual function.Clinical cases demonstrate the efficacy of this approach,providing valuable experience for treating such refractory ophthalmic conditions.关键词
