麻杏石甘汤联合耳穴压豆对重症肺炎患者的治疗效果观察
Observation of the Therapeutic Effect of Maxing Shigan Decoction Combined with Auricular Acupressure on Severe Pneumonia Patients

Abstract
Objective This study aims to explore the therapeutic value of the combination of Maxing Shigan Decoction and auricular acupressure in patients with severe pneumonia.Methods A prospective study was con-ducted involving 90 patients diagnosed with severe pneumonia at Qiannan Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from January 2023 to June 2024.Patients were randomly assigned to three groups using a random number table:the observation group and two control groups,each consisting of 30 patients.The first control group received auricular acupressure,the second control group was treated with Maxing Shigan Decoction,and the observation group received a combination of both treatments.Clinical outcomes,Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)syndrome scores,symptom improvement times,and pulmonary function were compared among the three groups.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was significantly higher than that in both control groups(P＜0.05).After treatment,the TCM syndrome scores for fever,cough,and other symptoms were lower in the observation group com-pared to the control groups(P＜0.05).Additionally,the time to resolution of fever and cough symptoms was shorter in the observation group(P＜0.05).Post-treatment,the forced vital capacity(FVC)in the observation group was higher while the forced expiratory volume in one second(FEV1)was higher(P＜0.05).Conclusion The combination of Maxing Shigan Decoction and auricular acupressure shows promise in enhancing clinical efficacy,alleviating symp-toms,and improving TCM syndrome scores and pulmonary function in patients with severe pneumonia.关键词
