埋线针刀联合葛根汤治疗椎动脉型颈椎病临床研究
Clinical Study of Catgut Embedding Acupotomy Combined with Gegen Decoction in Treatment of CSA

Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the clinical efficacy of catgut embedding acupotomy combined with Gegen Decoction in treatment of cervical spondylosis of the vertebral artery type(CSA).Methods:60 CSA patients were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group,with 30 patients in each group.Both groups received treatment of Gegen Decoction;on which basis,the control group was treated with conventional acupuncture,whereas the observation group was treated with conventional acupuncture and catgut embedding acupotomy.Clinical efficacy was compared between the two groups.Dizziness degree score(measured using VAS),vertebral-basilar blood flow(measured by TCD)and plasma levels of neuropeptide Y(NPY)and urotensin Ⅱ(UⅡ)were assessed before and after the treatment in the two groups.Results:The total effective rate was 96.67％(29/30)in the observation group,which was significantly higher than 80.00％(24/30)in the control group(P＜0.05).The VAS scores were decreased significantly in both groups after the treatment(P＜0.01),and the decrease was more significant in the observation group than that in the control group(P＜0.01).Both groups showed improvement in vertebral-basilar blood flow after the treatment(P＜0.05),with the observation group exhibiting superior results(P＜0.05).The plasma levels of NPY and UⅡ were decreased in both groups after the treatment(P＜0.05),with the observation group showing more significant decrease(P＜0.05).Safety analysis indicated satisfactory results,with ultrasound monitoring demonstrating good catgut absorption in the observation group.Conclusion:The combination of catgut embedding acuptomoty and Gegen Decoction significantly improves clinical symptoms in CSA patients,inhibits vasoconstrictor substance release,enhances hemodynamic parameters,and improves life quality of the patients.关键词
