The latest research progression of ferroptosis in colorectal cancer
摘要
Abstract
Ferroptosis,an iron-dependent form of cell death characterized by lipid peroxidation,plays a crucial role in the development and progression of colorectal cancer(CRC).Ferroptosis is not only involved in the proliferation,invasion,and metastasis of CRC cells but also significantly contributes to the remodeling of the tumor immune microenvironment.Moreover,inducing ferroptosis has been shown to overcome therapeutic resistance to chemotherapy,targeted therapy,and immunotherapy,thereby improving treatment response rates.Therefore,a deeper understanding of the mechanisms and sig-naling networks related to ferroptosis will provide theoretical support and a translational foundation for the development of novel CRC treatment strategies.关键词
