Report on the Experience of Treating Colorectal Cancer from the Perspectives of"Aarbuncle"and"Dampness-toxin"under the Guidance of Professor Zhou Daihan

Abstract
This article elucidates the academic thoughts and clinical practical experience of master of traditional Chinese medicine Professor Zhou Daihan in treating colorectal cancer based on the theories of"carbuncle"and"dampness-toxin".Based on the theories of"carbuncle"and"dampness-toxin",Professor Zhou combines with the unique climate characteristics of dampness-heat in the Lingnan region,and points out that"toxin accumulation due to dampness-heat"is the core pathogenesis of colorectal cancer,establishing the basic treatment principle of"dispelling dampness and detoxifying".In the clinical application of the method of dampness elimination and detoxification for colorectal cancer,he emphasizes that"the six fu-organs functioning well when unobstructed and harmonious by descending",and attaches great importance to the protection and nourishment of spleen in the middle energizer,which reflects the theoretical feature of"expelling pathogens without damaging healthy qi"in traditional Chinese medicine,providing new ideas for traditional Chinese medicine treatment of colorectal cancer.关键词
