摘要
Abstract
South Korean author Han Kang enters history through the lens of the 1980 Gwangju Uprising, exploring,in chronological order, the terror and traumatic historical memories brought about by violence. This provides a crucial global perspective—although Han Kang's novels are rooted in Korean history, the theme of historical trauma she portrays has sparked widespread discussion among international readers, fostering a global dialogue on human suffering. Her work portrays the bodies of victims as sites of pain and resistance, highlighting the brutal side of human nature.Through the use of multiple narrative perspectives, history and memory are presented as reciprocal references, amplifying the voices of individuals caught in the tension between historical memory and emotional trauma. This implicitly reflects Han Kang's profound contemplation on the act of historical writing.Unlike traditional historical narratives that often focus on politics, the state,or ideology,Han Kang's work scrutinizes the most fundamental subjects of history—the individuals—and the voices and power they unleash.关键词
