Abstract

Open communication among vehicles and between vehicles and infrastructure in the internet of vehicles(IoV)introduces significant privacy and security risks.With increasing traffic density,authentication authorities often discard en-tire lists of failed batch authentication messages to maintain real-time performance,potentially resulting in the loss of criti-cal information.To address these issues,this paper proposes a certificate-free batch authentication scheme tailored for IoV.The pseudonyms used during vehicle communications are jointly generated by the vehicles and a trusted authority,ensuring vehicle anonymity while allowing real identity traceability.A dynamic vehicle ranking update method based on Bayesian op-timization is introduced to enhance efficiency.By combining batch authentication with an optimized message search algo-rithm,the scheme enables rapid identification of malicious messages and traceability of their origin without discarding legiti-mate ones.Security analysis demonstrates that the proposed scheme effectively resists various types of attacks and satisfies anonymity and unlinkability requirements.Under the random oracle model,it can withstand both Type Ⅰ and Type Ⅱ adver-sarial attacks.Experimental results show that the scheme outperforms existing methods in terms of computational and com-munication overhead.
