Abstract

[Objective]In order to investigate the implementation of centralized immunization against major animal diseases in the first half of 2024 in Kizilsu Kyrgyz Autonomous Prefecture(hereinafter referred to as"Kizilsu Prefecture"),assess the immunization effects and antibody level in each county(city),scientifically analyze the risk of the occurrence of animal diseases as well as the epidemic trends,so as to effectively control the spread of major animal diseases,and to guarantee the high-quality development of the animal husbandry industry.[Methods]According to the serological detection methods for foot-and-mouth disease(FMD),peste des petits ruminants(PPR)and highly pathogenic avian influenza(AI)stipulated by the national standards,460 bovine serum samples,730 sheep serum samples,160 swine serum samples and 480 poultry serum samples were collected and subjected to antibody testing.[Results]Results showed that the average qualification rate of immune antibodies of FMD type O and A in cattle in Kizilsu Prefecture was 85.65%;that of FMD type O and A in sheep was 93.01%,of PPR was 85.00%,of FMD type O in pigs was 91.25%,and of H5/H7N9 subtype AI was 92.29%.[Conclusion]The average antibody qualification rates of all tested items met the national standards(qualification rate of 70%),in general,relatively good results had been achieved in the centralized immunization against major animal diseases in Kizilsu Prefecture in the spring in 2024,and the risk of regional major animal epidemics was low,the expected immunization effects had been attained.
