新疆蒿属牧草种质资源利用现状与展望
Utilization Status and Prospect of Artemisia L.Germplasm Resources in Xinjiang
摘要
Abstract
[Objective]Artemisia L.is one of the best herbage resources in desert steppe with a wide distribution and various species,which has a positive effect on the health of herbivores.Due to the accumulation of bitter substances in the body when the biomass of Artemisia L.reaches peak in summer,its palatability becomes poor,and the low grass yield caused by overgrazing also restricts its large-scale development as artificial forage.In order to improve the palatability of Artemisia L.and to promote the large-scale planting,it is necessary to fully understand its distribution status,sources of bitter substances as well as active substances and their functions.[Methods]In this paper,the distribution status,annual output,nutrient characteristics and components of bitter substances of Artemisia L.,as well as the functional research progress of its active nutrients in improving the milk and meat quality of livestock,were discussed,and the problems existing in the application of Artemisia L.in animal husbandry and corresponding countermeasures were also discussed.[Results]The development of Artemisia L.germplasm resources was expected to play a positive role in the high-quality development of animal husbandry in Xinjiang.[Conclusion]A scientific theoretical reference was provided for the research and development of functional forage of Artemisia L..关键词
