Abstract

[Objective]In order to optimize the planting structure of grain and grass,improve land use efficiency and to increase economic benefits,the yield and benefits of different planting patterns of forage oats in Changji of Xinjiang were explored.[Methods]Two planting patterns in spring and autumn were comprehensively evaluated based on key indicators such as grass yield,input cost and planting income.[Results]The variation ranges of plant height,dry-fresh ratio and hay yield of forage oats under different modes in spring were 109.66 to 133.44 cm,24.61%to 33.14%and 8 750.46 to 11 404.23 kg/hm2,respectively.Among them,the hay yield of mode II was the highest,and the planting income of mode I was the highest.The variation ranges of plant height,dry-fresh ratio and hay yield of forage oats under different modes in autumn were 143.27 to 152.22 cm,13.69%to 14.68%and 100 42.30 to 11 524.38 kg/hm2,respectively.Among them,the hay yield and planting income of mode VI were the highest.The average plant height and fresh yield of oats in autumn were extremely significantly higher than those in spring(P<0.01).[Conclusion]In the desert irrigation area of Changji,the optimal combination of planting forage oats in spring was mode I,with a yield of 11 360.06 kg/hm2 and the planting income(excluding land rent)of 10 848.11 yuan/hm2.The optimal combination of multiple cropping of forage oats in autumn was mode VI,with a hay yield of 11 524.38 kg/hm2 and the planting income of 10 693.88 yuan/hm2.
