摘要

Abstract

DC circuit breaker is an indispensable and crucial component in DC power transmission tech-nology,playing a vital role in ensuring the stable operation of the DC transmission system.In this regard,active current injection circuit breakers based on the magnetic induction current commutation module have attracted significant attention due to their advantages of low cost,small size,and high reliability in cur-rent interruption.The author aims to meet the requirements of 500 kV DC power transmission by impro-ving the topology of the existing active current injection circuit breaker based on the magnetic induction current commutation module to incorporate a current-limiting function.The working principle is elabora-ted in detail,and its feasibility is demonstrated through parameter design and PSCAD simulation verifica-tion.Research results show that compared to the original design,this novel approach more effectively suppresses the rise rate of short-circuit current and mitigates on-state losses,thereby reducing the fault current energy absorbed by surge arresters and enhancing their repeatability.Additionally,the proposed solution significantly reduces the overall system cost.Therefore,this improvement plan is of great signifi-cance in enhancing the stability and reducing operating costs of DC power transmission systems.
