Abstract
Stationary shoulder stir friction welding was performed on 6005-T6 aluminum alloy with a plate thickness of 4 mm,and the influence of welding speed on the joint microstructure and mechanical properties was studied.And optical mi-croscope,scanning electron microscope,microhardness tester,and tensile tester were used to analyze the microstructure and test the mechanical properties of the joint.The results indicate that compared to traditional friction stir welding,static shoul-der friction stir welding reduces the performance gradient in the thickness direction of the plate;There are two hardness soft-ening zones along the cross-sectional direction of the weld seam,namely the heat affected zone on the retreat side and the heat affected zone on the advance side,which are the areas with the weakest mechanical properties of the entire joint.Under the welding process parameters of a stirring head speed of 2600 r/min,welding speeds of 300 mm/min,500 mm/min,and 800 mm/min,the tensile strength of the joint was 218 MPa,227 MPa,and 237 MPa,respectively.The tensile fracture oc-curred in the heat affected zone on the retreat side,and the tensile fracture was ductile fracture.关键词
