摘要

Abstract

[Objective]As a core parameter for accounting and reporting greenhouse gas emissions,the carbon emission factor of coal combustion is crucial to support China's dual-carbon goal.Clarifying the calculation method and influencing factors of carbon emission factors in the power generation industry can guide coal-fired power units to reduce carbon emissions.[Methods]This paper systematically reviews the related research on carbon emission factors of coal combustion in power generation industry.It summarizes the different calculation methods and application status based on emission factors,analyzes the influence of key variables such as coal quality characteristics,carbon oxidation rate and calorific value on emission factors,and puts forward targeted research suggestions on carbon emission factors in power industry.[Results]The research shows that from the default value method,the measured calorific value method,the measured element method to the direct monitoring method,the accuracy of the emission factors calculated by different methods is gradually improved,but the difficulty of data acquisition is also gradually increased.Variables such as coal quality characteristics,carbon oxidation rate and calorific value all have significant effects on emission factors.From the perspective of national studies in different countries,there are great changes in carbon emission factors,among which the change of lignite carbon emission factor is the largest.The lignite emission factor in China is about 11%different from that in the European Union,6%different from that in the United States,and the difference of lignite emission factor within the European Union is as high as 39.2%.[Conclusion]In view of the research on carbon emission factors of coal combustion in power generation industry,it is suggested to strengthen the measurement and statistics of coal quality parameters and establish a national carbon emission factor database.Promoting the development of direct monitoring technology for carbon emissions and build an accurate carbon measurement system.Establishing relevant standards to achieve a comprehensive assessment of the uncertainty of carbon measurement data and cross-validation of data.
