摘要

Abstract

In this study,reed was used as raw material to prepare xanthan acidified hydrochar by continuous one-pot modification,and the characterization and adsorption of Zn(Ⅱ)/Cd(Ⅱ)experiments were carried out.The results of SEM,FTIR and BET showed that xanthic acid groups were successfully introduced into the surface of hydrochar.Under the optimal conditions of 1 g/L dosage and pH=6,the adsorption of Zn(Ⅱ)and Cd(Ⅱ)by xanthan acidified hydrochar reached equilibrium about 120 min,and the maximum theoretical adsorption capacities were 73.02 and 93.05 mg/g,respectively.By matching the adsorption kinetics and adsorption isotherm data,it is found that the pseudo-second-order kinetics and Langmuir model are more suitable to describe this phenomenon.This indicates that the adsorption process mainly involves chemisorption and only occurs at the unit molecular layer.After 5 sorption and desorption experiments,xanthan acidified hydrochar still has considerable adsorption capacity,indicating that xanthan acidified hydrochar has recycling value.The adsorbent can be used for the treatment of heavy metal wastewater containing Zn(Ⅱ)or Cd(Ⅱ).
