Abstract

Focusing on the Chang'e-6 lunar far-side sample return mission,a systematic research is conducted on the unique communication environment of the lunar far side in this paper.Due to the inability to establish a direct communication link with Earth on the far side of the Moon,Chang'e-6 probe relies on the Queqiao-2 relay satellite for ground communication.However,the relay links are susceptible to complex space environments,posing a risk of short-term communi-cation interruptions that may have a significant impact on the timeliness of lunar surface opera-tions.Through the analysis of spacecraft fault mode,it is found that short-term communication link failures account for approximately 10%of all incidents.Although most of them are transient issues,they pose a potential threat to the continuity of lunar missions.Existing emergency plan-ning research primarily focuses on resource allocation and evacuation strategies,which are insuf-ficient to meet the sampling requirements of Chang'e-6 under strict time constraints.As the first unmanned lunar far side sampling mission for humans,its mission planning requires the estab-lishment of dual guarantee mechanisms:completing sample encapsulation and takeoff preparation with relay support,while simultaneously establishing an emergency response system in case of communication interruptions.This paper proposes an improved method of link adaptation and timely strategy recon-figuration,which reduces the dependency on the relay system,optimizes the minimum planning objectives for lunar surface operations,enhances sampling efficiency and mission reliability within limited time frames,and provides key technological support for subse-quent deep space exploration missions.
